Instructions
Your book should contain the following:
A
decorated Cover with your name as the author.
Each
letter of the alphabet on a separate page.
A
word or term relating to the Civil War: People, places, events, battles,
terms, leaders,
hero, heroines, etc.
A
thorough definition or explanation of each word written in terms that a
younger child
could understand. Everything must be hand written!
An
illustration for each world.
Illustrations
can be drawn, traced, copied, cut from magazines or newspapers, or done
on the computer.
Be
consistent throughout your book. Make it as much like a real ABC
book as possible.
Your
grade will be determined by craftsmanship, creativity, thoroughness and
balance of
Civil War information, and neatness.
Remember
that spelling and grammar count.
